NEW YORK CITY-Brokers and clients are now being offered use of a new Web resource by commercial real estate firm Julien J. Studley, Inc. This addition to the company’s Web site, www.studley.com, is called the Studley Experience. It allows those with e-mail accounts to click on a link sent in an e-mail to a Web page with news and information.

The Studley Experience contains an overview on the company itself, case studies in specific industries, lease news and an on-line edition of the Studley Report. It also has a search tool, time zone specific graphics, document sharing, project message update boards and chat areas available around-the-clock to clients and brokers. The user can select the information he or she wants to appear, personalizing the page as it appears on the screen.

“Very cool,” writes Peter Pike, president of PikeNet, in a written statement released by Studley for the new site addition. PikeNet is an on-line publisher of real estate information. “This is much more effective than sending the client to your public Web site, where it might be difficult to find relevant pages, particularly if you have comprehensive content,” he adds.

A spokesperson for the Studley Experience shares his view with GlobeSt.com following the announcement, saying that the site is unique among the e-technology sites emerging in the commercial real estate industry and will enhance the ability of those in the market to make choices and transactions. With regard to other sites, in a statement, Jeff Hipschman, Studley’s chief technology officer weighs in. “In an era of information overload, it is critical to present relevant, personalized information,” he writes. “The Studley Experience facilitates the transaction process without burdening the tenant with extraneous information.”
