WASHINGTON, DC-Willkie Farr & Gallagher has leased 52,418 sf in a 170,000-sf building at 1875 K St. NW, a joint development of Quadrangle Development Corp. and Potomac Investment Properties. As GlobeSt.com first reported earlier, the law firm was negotiating to be the lead tenant in the speculative 12-story building.

Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Quadrangle represented the developers. The building’s completion is expected in January 2002.

The building, designed by the Washington, DC architectural firm of Hartman Cox Architects (Market Square, Franklin Tower) will consist of 12 stories above grade and two and a half levels of parking below grade. The first floor of the building will feature approximately 8,200 square feet of high-profile retail space.
