The company sees Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem andCharlotte as a single, growing metropolitan area. Cindy Christopherand Mark Caudill will head up the Triad operation.

A revitalization program in Downtown Winston-Salem is one of thereasons Commercial Carolina has chosen to establish an office here,according to Christopher. Current activity includes plans for atechnology park, an entertainment district and more class A officespace.

During the summer, Carolina Commercial opened an office inCharleston, SC and plans to open others in Greenville and Columbia,SC. The Piedmont Triad, consisting mainly of Winston-Salem,Greensboro and High Point, is situated on a curve between Charlotteand Research Triangle Park.
