The Nevada operation is contacting prominent Carolinaretailers/manufacturers such as the Catawaba Furniture Mall ofHickory, NC and Atrium Furniture Mall and Furnitureland South, bothof High Point, NC, long considered the furniture-making capital ofthe United States.

The Vegas project, scheduled to open in early 2002, would bealmost twice the size of Furnitureland South and more than fourtimes the size of either the Atrium or Catawaba malls. A secondproject, the International Furniture Trade Center, is also plannedby the Furniture Mart entrepreneurs, headed by Jack Kashani.
