The stores are the first to be opened in the state of Washingtonby the electronics retailer. Depending on how they do, it may bejust the beginning. Best Buy Spokeswoman Jenny Bohuslavsky says thecompany, which currently has 401 stores in 40 states, is on anaggressive growth track and is currently opening 60 stores a year.Though she wouldn't speculate on where the new stores will belocated, she says Best Buy plans to have 650 stores nationwide by2004.
