The new four-story hotel is owned by McAllen HospitalityInvestors, and operated under a license agreement with Hilton InnsInc., the franchise subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton HotelsCorp. Castle Hospitality manages the property.
The Hilton Garden is designed to fit into the upper end of themid-priced hotel category and attract cost-conscious businesstravelers as well as leisure travelers. More than 200 Hilton GardenInn properties are expected to open or be under contract in theUnited States, Canada and Mexico by year's end.
