"Advent's rapid growth provided a need for more space, whichcould be occupied very quickly," says Chris Perry of the TrammellCrow Co., who represented the plaza's newest tenant. He says theavailable space will need minimal retrofitting to be tailored toAdvent's requirements. "Advent also liked the Northwest submarketbecause they believed it was conducive to recruiting new andtalented employees in today's competitive labor market," addsPerry.

The year-old company is a developer of breakthrough technologyfor next-generation delivery of voice, data and video. AdventNetworks has gained fiscal backing to resolve "last mile" bandwidthconstraints. With its patent-pending platform, UltraBand, Adventsays it will be able to deliver up to 40 mbps of dedicatedbandwidth to homes and businesses. Talks are ongoing with advancednetwork operators and cable television companies to integrate theplatform into their industries.

Great Hills Plaza, a 148,000-sf office structure, is situated at9600 Great Hills Trail, just south of Jolleyville Road. BlueCross/Blue Shield leads the tenant roster at the structure owned byCarrAmerica, which also controls leasing and management.
