In her new role, she will be responsible for the operation ofthe firm's entire portfolio, consisting of 251 income-producingproperties in 14 states. In addition to the day-to-day managementof the shopping center and industrial portfolios, she also willoversee landscaping, security and tenant relationships. The realestate company has a total of 3,300 tenants.

Weingarten is a Houston-based REIT that owns 196 shoppingcenters, 53 industrial properties, one apartment complex and oneoffice building, totaling more than 28 million sf.
