The new store reflects the company's strategy of "twinning" theBang & Olufsen branded locations with Harvey locations. Thecompany has already opened its first Bang & Olufsen location inthe Union Square area of lower Manhattan, nearby a HarveyElectronics showroom.
Franklin Karp, president of Harvey commented, "The GreenwichBang Olufsen branded store had a soft opening on October 12. Werushed to open on October 12 to avoid opening on Friday the 13th!We have been very successful with our Manhattan Bang & Olufsenlocation, and we expect to replicate that success inGreenwich."
He adds, "The new store is located on Greenwich Avenue -arguably one of the most upscale, heavily trafficked shoppingdistricts in our region. We believe that the highly styled,distinctively European Bang & Olufsen products will find areceptive clientele in Greenwich."
