Manny Chavez is the founder of Harvard Manufacturing Texas,which provides electronic assembly, testing, installation anddistribution for telecommunications companies. He serves aspresident and CEO for the firm that employs 250 people in theregion.

Locally, Robert Gaston, an 11-year veteran of commercial realestate, is now chairing the Downtown Austin Alliance. He is asenior property manager for One American Center, one of threedowntown structures owned by Equity Office Properties Trust. He hasbeen elected to a one-year term to chair the CBD developmentboard.
