The estimated hard construction cost of the six-story buildingis $30 million. The structure overlooks the 40-acre Tropical Lakeon the east side of Interstate 4. Completion is tentativelyscheduled for August 2001. Kelsey Construction Inc. is the generalcontractor.
Another developer, St. Joe Co., plans to break ground at anundetermined date in 2001 on a five-story, 175,000-sf officebuilding off Keller Road near suburban Maitland Center. Theestimated hard construction cost of the project is $26 million.
Locally-based Hunton Brady Pryor Maso Architects designed thebuilding. The Orlando office of Advantis Inc., a St. Joe company,will lease the property.
