The Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center will include a performingarts theater, gym, aquatic center and other facilities. It willserve East San Diego, La Mesa and Lemon Grove.
Joan Kroc pledged $80 million for the construction of thecenter, designed by local architectural firm Austin Veum RobbinsParshalle. Roel Construction Co. is the general contractor.
