Serving a more limited menu of the restaurant's signature pizza,salads, sandwiches and dessert, the "grab and go" concept forpeople eating on the run is already established at 24 locationsaround the country, mostly in airports. With 3,204-sf of floorspace, this third storefront location will have seating for 35people inside and patio seating for 64 people.
Located on the third floor of what used to be called theseparate Crystal Court section of the mall, the renamed Crate &Barrel wing is now connected to the main mall via a newlyconstructed pedestrian bridge.
Officials at CPK and South Coast Plaza would not comment on thefinancial details of the lease arrangement. If the concept succeedsat this popular shopping venue, more such locations may follow.
