Patriot National is a commercial bank that reported assets of$193 million as of Sept. 30, 2000. The bank has three full serviceoffices in Stamford, Greenwich and Old Greenwich serving FairfieldCounty, CT and Westchester County, NY. Patriot National also hasthree loan production offices in New York, New Jersey andGreenwich.
In addition to his election as president and CEO, Howell, aresident of Danbury, was also elected to the board of directors ofPatriot National Bank and was elected vice chairman and a member ofthe board of Patriot National Bancorp.
Howell served as a senior executive officer of N.S.S. Bank forover 20 years. He was also a director and chief operating officerof the Bank and N.S.S. Bancorp. Howell worked in lending, finance,operations and marketing.
