New Lease Deals Bring Parker Corporate Center to Full Occupancy

WHITE PLAINS-The Jack Parker Corp., owner of the Parker Corporate Center office complex here, reports that it has secured 50,000 sf in new lease deals that now brings the property to full occupancy.

Some of the major lease deals announced by Parker Corp. at the 320,000 sf complex were: the 12,000 sf lease with the law firm McCullough, Goldberger & Staudt, a 15,000 sf lease with Gerber Life Insurance and Heritage Insurance, which signed a deal for 12,000 sf. All three lease deals were signed in the upper $20 per sf range, company officials note.

“This building has proven to be one of the most popular in the entire country as a blue chip corporate location,” says Robert S. Skolnick, executive vice president of the Jack Parker Corp. “It has shown us that the county is no longer just an archipelago of stand-alone single-tenant campuses, but also a viable multi-tenant market.” The property, which had formerly been occupied by a division of IBM, had originally been marketed for a single-user, but Jack Parker Corp., decided to lease the property to multi-tenants.

“The key to the incredibly rapid lease up of this property–it took a little more than 18 months–was our willingness to do a total renovation to the property before we had a single tenant in place,” Skolnick says.
