The building sites are at 9885 and 9875 Town Centre Drive.Illumina also has expansion rights for an additional three-story,81,000-sf facility.
Illumina Inc. is a genetic technology firm specializing in useof genetics to improve drugs and cure diseases.
Washington Capital Management is providing a $22-millionconstruction loan and a $24-million permanent loan for the project.Rob Merkin and Nick Psyllos of CB Richard Ellis' San Diego Centraloffice represented the developer, Diversified Properties. Neil Foxof CB Richard Ellis' San Diego Central office represented thetenant.
