Aetna, which employs 900 people at the high-profile property,has leased space at the class A high-rise since 1996, starting outwith 135,000 sf. The Stemmons Place operation is home to Aetna USHealthcare's West Central Region. Its CFO Nate Eudaly says thebuilding's location and Crescent's service have motivated therenewal.

The 634,381-sf structure, owned by Ft. Worth-based Crescent RealEstate Equities Co., is situated close to Dallas' Central BusinessDistrict and the World Trade Center. Stemmons Place's leasingmanager has negotiated the renewal on behalf of the owner while CLWRealty of Tampa, FL, and Swearingen Realty Group of Dallas haveacted on the tenant's behalf.
