Tenants have been signed for two projects along Jack NewellBoulevard, with the third undertaking consisting of dual 60,000-sfspec buildings, Trey Fricke, vice president of industrial andoffice leasing for Henry S. Miller Commercial, tells GlobeSt.com.Sysco Food Services of Dallas has signed a 10-year lease for a5,500-sf sales office and trucking terminal, situated on 2.2 acres,that will break ground Nov. 1. An abutting project on 8.1 acres isunder way for a 30,000-sf build-to-suit for United Rentals Inc.,which also has taken a 10-year lease. United Rentals plans to houseits Highway Technologies Division in the building, slated foroccupancy Jan. 1. The Sysco Food sales office will be ready foroccupancy by May 1.

Fricke, who represents Sutherland Investments, says the two specbuildings, estimated to cost $4.5 million, will break ground inearly 2001 and will be ready to occupy in July or August. Thatproject, situated on 9.5 acres, is located across the street fromSutherland's other developments. The spec projects are 24-foot highconcrete tiltwall constructed with multiple docks.

Riverbend West Industrial Park is an older development in eastFt. Worth that "has a reputation of not being an older park becauseof the amount of newer buildings there," Fricke explains. He saysthese projects are just the beginning for Sutherland, a long-timeDallas operation.
