The facility, which will be located at 300 5th Ave.N.W., willconsist of a 21,788 sf, two-storyoffice area and a 44,750 sfwarehouse. Thereis also space for the repair department and roomforfuture expansion.The building, which will be constructed out ofexposedaggregate pre-cast panels, is expected to be ready inApril.Dalco's 80 employees now work out of a buildingat 3010 Broadway St.N.E. in Minneapolis.

Kent Carlson, vice president of industrial developmentatMinneapolis-based Ryan Cos., thinks the projectwill help build theindustrial economy for the NewBrighton area, and will serve as agood, accessiblelocation for Dalco."This new building will allow usto offerefficiencies to our customers and provide an enhancedworkenvironment for our employees," says Ted StarkJr., Dalco's chiefexecutive officer.

Dalco has customers in Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin,northernIowa, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.The company has a totalof 135 employees, includingthose in branch facilities in Duluth andRochester,MN, and LaCrosse, WI.
