That leg of the projectultimately will connect the Stapleton redevelopment, the bus systemand air train.The prospects are Pittsburgh-based Air RailConstruction, led by Adtranz DaimlerChrysler--formerly a part ofWestinghouse, which has designed and installed the airport'sunderground train system; Denver East Corridor Rail Group LLC,headed by Denver real estate investor Doug Jones, who has beentrying to get backing for an air train for five years; DenverTransit Alliance, headed by Morrison Knudsen Construction andKiewit Western, which includes a team of engineers and financepartners; and Denver Front Range Railroad Co., led by Marla SueGordon of Denver.
