The location is adjacent to the Tower Records store and isapproximately five miles south of the Bed Bath & BeyondHartsdale location, which is also on Central Park Ave. In addition,the retailer operates a store on Route 119 in Elmsford. No terms ofthe transaction were released.

Goldschmidt, who represented the seller WBP Associates, saysthat Bed Bath & Beyond is awaiting approval of its buildingpermit and then can proceed with construction on its 43,266 sfstore. Occupancy is scheduled for spring 2002.
