Bioscience Park Center Puts Out Welcome Mat for 60,000-SF Lab, Office

AURORA, CO-The fledgling Bioscience Park Center gets its first building, a 60,000-sf lab and office delivering advanced information technology infrastructure. The complex is being built on the former Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center.

AURORA, CO-A 60,000-sf building is the first to open in the fledgling Bioscience Park Center in the $4 billion redevelopment of the 160-acre former Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, just east of Denver.

The Bioscience Park is a component of the nation’s largest medical-related redevelopments. The project, which will take 15 to 20 years to complete, ll offer one square mile of office and research space dedicated to biotechnology research and development, basic-science research, patient care and teaching.

The initial facility includes a laboratory, office and advanced information technology infrastructure. Located at 12635 E. Montview Blvd., it is designed as an incubator to serve as a catalyst for Colorado’s biotechnology industry.
