He says the school's purchase includes five lots, four of whichare contiguous. One of two Fuller and Co. brokers who handled thetransaction, Roemer says the four abutting acres will be used forball fields. "They don't need the other acre, but we required themto purchase it as part of the deal.". That parcel, zoned foroffices, will be sold.

According to Roemer, the school also plans to buy the formerCooper 7 theater located across from the ball field site.

Former movie houses represent some of the most difficultproperties to sell as alternative uses. The school plans toretrofit the structure into classrooms, gymnasium and space forschool activities.
