The commission includes designing the $45-million expansion andrenovation of the M.D. Anderson Library at the University ofHouston. Construction is expected to start in late 2001.
The 62-year-old Morris Architects, based in Houston, also hasoffices in Orlando, FL and Los Angeles. Shepley Bulfinch Richardsonand Abbott has been around since 1874 and is one of the oldestcontinuously practicing architectural firms in the United Statesand the oldest in Boston.
