The OTI contactless smart cards will initially contain e-cashand loyalty program functionality. Truck drivers visiting thecenter will use the cards to make purchases, earning loyalty pointsas they shop at the truck stop, which includes a hotel,restaurants, a movie theater, several retail stores, a barbershopand even a laundromat. These points can be used immediately on-sitefor additional purchases or discounts. Any remaining cash value orpoints on a card may be redeemed during future visits.

Jubitz was founded in 1952 and is one of the Pacific Northwest'sleading independent truck stops, serving long-haul, regional andintrastate fleets with immediate access to the Port of Portland andrail terminal facilities. It was recently expanded with thecompletion of VanPort Mall. OTI (On Track Innovations) designs anddevelops contactless microprocessor-based smart card technology toaddress the needs of a wide variety of markets. Applicationsdeveloped by OTI include product solutions for mass transit,parking, gas management systems, loyalty schemes, ID and securecampuses. OTI, based in Rosh Pina, Israel, was awarded theprestigious ESCAT Award for smart card innovation in both 1998 and2000.
