The mall expects to see as much as $300 million in sales thisyear, but general manager Ray Soporowski thinks the mall has failedto fully target the teen-age market. Mall operators also want toadd name retailers such as Jones New York and Guess. A LizClaiborne shop is scheduled to open soon and Nordstrom and SaksFifth Avenue are also expected to add their names to the list.

Development on the perimeter of the mall also continues at arapid pace. New retail outlets are springing up, some expected toopen before Thanksgiving. First Citizens Bank will open a branchearly next year. Other retailers, restaurants and community servicefirms are in various stages of development.
