The plant is expected to open toward the end of the firstquarter next year. The plant will employ about 25 workers who willproduce about 50,000 linear yards of fabric each week. The NorthKansas City plant produces about 200,000 linear yards per week.

Barry Oltsik, the company's vice president of manufacturing, isoverseeing the plant in Mexico. Fabric-Quilt was founded in 1962and had revenues last year of $36 million.
