Neighborhood Reinvestment supports affordable housinginitiatives through NeighborWorks, its network of local, non-profithousing organizations. The money will be funneled to NeighborWorksHomeOwnership Centers, which help increase home ownership byhelping customers with a wide variety of home buying servicesincluding pre-purchase counseling, construction oversight, downpayment and closing cost assistance, post-purchase counseling andforeclosure prevention programs. The donation will also support afellows program whereby local housing representatives will receiveadvanced training from the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corp. TrainingInstitute.

The Wells Fargo Housing Foundation was created to providepermanent solutions to affordable housing needs in Wells Fargocommunities nationwide. Through the volunteer efforts of WellsFargo team members, more than 1,000 homes have been built orrenovated through the foundation since its inception in 1993. Thefoundation is funded by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
