The honoree, Susan Gwin, is the first woman to receive theprestigious annual award. Named for the Stemmons family inrecognition of contributions to Dallas' growth, the StemmonsService Award is bestowed upon a member of the North TexasCommercial Association of Realtors best exemplifying the higheststandards of a commercial realtor.Gwin has earned the respect ofher peers as an active, productive broker who successfully resolveson a daily basis the intricacies of completing a commercial realestate transaction. Specific considerations for this peer-nominatedaward include real estate industry tenure, professional and civicinvolvement, active production level, professional standards andNTCAR participation.

Gwin had joined The Staubach Co. in June 1999. She previouslyhad worked as the southwest regional director of corporate servicesfor Grubb & Ellis, and also had been senior vice president andmarketing director for CB Commercial Real Estate Group. She alsohad owned a commercial real estate firm with an emphasis on tenantrepresentation.She is the second Staubach professional to win theaward. Ken Shulman had been 1994's recipient.
