The companies have a total projected work force of 500. They aredivisions of GE Plastics, a Waterford, NY-based manufacturer ofsilicone and related products with 3,500 employees worldwide. GEPolymerland currently operates from the 54,500-sf Boyce Building inthe park. GE Sealants & Adhesives, a new subsidiary of GESilicones, is consolidating staffs from three locations inHuntersville.

GE Sealants' biggest customers are Wilkesboro-based Lowe's andAtlanta-based Home Depot. The Charlotte operations comprises sales,marketing and human resources. Manufacturing facilities are inWaterford, NY; New Smyma Beach, FL; Euless, TX; Las Vegas; andToronto.
