The 215,000-sf structure will house the main corporate officesof Cameron, situated on a parcel at the northeast corner of the SamHouston Tollway and Clay Rd. It will extend the northward spread ofthe complex of office buildings on the west stretch of the tollway,where a building boom is taking place. BMC Software has builtseveral office towers in the area and it is the site of the20-story BriarLake Plaza.
Cameron has been seeking a site offering easy access to HoustonIntercontinental Airport and residential communities on Houston'swest side - selectively avoiding properties along theconstruction-ridden Katy Freeway.
