SAN DIEGO-Computer software giant Microsoft Corp. is moving into 14,000-sf space in the La Jolla/University Towne Center area.

Bycor General Contractors finished $600,000 in tenant improvements for Microsoft in September at 9255 Towne Center Dr. The offices will include a training facility and large classroom capable of seating 100 students.

Microsoft is scheduled to begin doing business in the building owned by Prudential Securities Inc. on Dec. 7. The local office will be the home base for about 25 sales representatives. A couple hundred other Southern California Microsoft workers will use the offices as a meeting or training center.
