Travelers using Wayport's Portable Internet Accessservice can access the Internet in the airport and connect withcompany networks, email and the Web using their laptop PC andwireless network card.
The company had launched the Seattle airport service mid-weekwith promotional offers and demonstrations. The event had beensponsored by Xircom, Cisco and Toshiba. Wayport also is outfittinghotels in select areas with high-speed Internet access. The companyhas contracts in place with the Four Seasons chain, Wyndham Hotels& Resorts and Sonesta Hotels & Resorts. Four Seasonsproperties in Austin, New York City, Las Vegas and Philadelphia arealready equipped for access.
