Federal Realty Names Andrew P. Blocher VP Investor Relations & Finance

ROCKVILLE, MD-Andrew P. Blocher is now vice president, Investor Relations & Finance for Federal Realty Investment Trust, according to company officials. He is primarily responsible for directing the company’s investor relations activities and developing and managing the company’s relationships with equity and fixed-income investors, buy-side and sell-side analysts and strategic partners.

Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Blocher was vice president of capital markets for CRIIMI MAE Inc. He was responsible for managing the company’s institutional investor relationships and strategically raising capital to fund growth.

Federal Realty is an equity real estate investment trust specializing in the ownership, management, development and redevelopment of prime retail and urban mixed-use districts. The Trust’s real estate portfolio contains more than 120 properties consisting of community and neighborhood shopping centers, urban mixed-use main street retail and apartment properties located in strategic metropolitan markets across the United States.
