MCE, the lead contractor on the Big Dig, paid $52 million forthe 336,000-sf building last summer, which it is converting toClass A office space. The former factory building is located on theBoston Harbor and is the site of the Boston Tea Party.

MCE did not return calls by press time but the company's vicepresident, Robert Shepard is quoted as saying that his firm isnegotiating with three tenants who could lease up to 80% of thebuilding. In addition, Regis, a shared-office company, signed aletter of intent to lease multiple floors in the building. MCE isusing Trammell Crow as its exclusive leasing agent. The building'scompletion is slated for August.
