Another 3,160-sf facility, with seating for 70, will open inAvondale on Thursday, Dec. 7, at Dysart Rd. one block north ofInterstate 10, according to company spokesperson Michelle Guzman.Reportedly, Avondale police are preparing for expected trafficproblems at the I-10 off ramp, with the opening of the popularrestaurant there.
Restaurants are also planned for Tempe, Mesa and downtownPhoenix.
Established in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, Irvine-basedIn-N-Burger was California's first "drive-thru" hamburger stand,and its restaurants are well-known for their nostalgic 50sappearance, made-to-order hamburgers and milk shakes made with realice cream.
