MIAMI BEACH-The 70-year-old, 17-story, 1,152-unit Roney Palace Beach Resort & Spa has a new general manager. He is Ron Droegmyer who held the same post at Wyndham Miami Beach Resort for the past two years. Droegmyer will be overseeing the daily operations of 585 hotel rooms and 567 condominium units at the Roney.

He was recognized as International General Manager of the Year when he was general manager at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica prior to moving to Miami Beach. Gemstone Resorts International manages the Roney.
