KANSAS CITY, MO-Kansas City-based CommunityAmerica Credit Union has awarded a facility development contract to the development and construction services division of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. The exclusive contract calls for site selection, design and construction of a 100,000-sf corporate headquarters in Lenexa, KS, and for eight to 10 branch locations in Kansas City and St. Louis. The project is expected to take about two years to complete, at a cost of approximately $23 million.

“CommunityAmerica Credit Union has chosen Colliers Turley Martin Tucker to provide development project management services during our ongoing expansion program,” says Linda Boring, SVP of adminstrative services for CommunityAmerica. “We are in the process of building numerous branch locations, as well as aoffice building. Colliers Turley Martin Tucker is providing the essential development and construction management expertise to these projects for us.”

Corporate headquarters will be in the Renner Ridge Corporate Center in Lenexa. Renner Ridge Corporate Center is a 60-acre business park development. CommunityAmerica is the second building for the business park. “Our services will allow CommunityAmerica to build and open a new headquarters and several branch locations simultaneously,” notes Steve Coon, VP of CTMT’s Development and Construction Services Division. “They can also focus on their business while we provide site selection, construction oversight and even interior design and furnishing of each facility.”

CTMT is also currently managing the construction and development of a 115,000-sf office/warehoue distribution center for Inland Industries in Johnson County, KS. The firm is one of the nation’s largest full-service commercial real estate companies, managing more than 37 million sf of office, industrial and retail properties. CommunityAmerica is the eighth largest financial institution in the Kansas City market, with more than $920 million in assets.
