The 11-acre parcel that just went on the market, however, isacross one of the city's unspoken demarcation lines--in this case,Northside Drive. As in other areas of Atlanta, development can beslow to cross those lines.

The sellers--three private individuals--have retainedInsignia/ESG to market the property, which contains five industrialbuildings totaling 172,500 sf. The owners have not set a price onthe tract, but expect potential investors/buyers essentially toestablish the cost. The owners will accept the best offer, notunlike an absolute auction process.

Across Northside Drive is the expanding Georgia World CongressCenter. Near the tract is Northyards, a 250,000-sf loft office andtelecommunications project currently being leased, and GeorgiaTech's new project at Northside Drive.
