Cherokee County Getting 14-Acre, $25-Mil Strip Mall Already Preleased to Five Tenants

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA-Restaurant and Retail Developers Inc. of Kennesaw, GA plans a first-quarter ground-breaking in this fast-growing North Georgia county, 35 miles northwest of Downtown Atlanta.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA-Fourteen acres along GA 92 are going for a strip mall early next year with an estimated construction cost of $25 million. The developer is Restaurant and Retail Developers Inc. of Kennesaw, GA, headed by Larry Ledbetter.

Five tenants are signed, including a pizza shop, fast-food eateries and a tire store. The project is expected to open by summer.

The developer is banking on the project drawing business from workers and residents in developments on and around the rapidly developing highway corridor, just over the Cobb County line.
