HOUSTON-Telynx Inc., an El Paso-based network solutions firm, is moving its headquarters to Houston–it’s just not sure exactly where yet. The company is still negotiating with two lessors for about 9,500 sf of office space along the West Loop of Loop 610, according to Laura Agrons, Telynx’s marketing director. While anticipating a final decision by February, Agrons and two other Telynx employees are working out of temporary Houston quarters in the Chase Bank Building at 5847 San Felipe at Augusta in San Felipe Plaza.

“The new space will be roughly in the Bellaire area along the West Loop,” Agrons tells GlobeSt.com, but I can’t tell you exactly which building yet.” Telynx will still call El Paso its home office and maintain a sales office in Dallas, but the new Houston office will be the official company headquarters. About 10 people will be based in the Houston office. The Houston move had been based on the company’s future growth in technology and the telecommunications industry. .

“We believe that the move to Houston better aligns us with our market and our product strategy,” says Ali Al-Dahwi, Telynx’s president and CEO. Telynx, formerly known as Cambio Inc., specializes in telecommunications infrastructure management systems. It supplies software–the netRunner.com family of products–plus professional services for operations support systems of telecommunications and general enterprise networks. Clients include Fortune 100 financial institutions as well as telecommunications companies. Telynx has additional offices in Washington DC, Denver, Boston, London, Cairo and a satellite office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
