Biotech Information Firm Opens Cambridge Office

CAMBRIDGE, MA-InforMax Inc., a biotechnology services company, reports it has opened a 2,500 sf sales office at 210 Broadway. The lease reflects the area's ever-growing appeal to the biotechnology industry.

CAMBRIDGE, MA-A Maryland-based biotechnology services company reports it has opened an office for sales and support personnel at 210 Broadway in Cambridge. InforMax Inc., which is headquartered in Rockville, MD, has leased 2,500 sf at the property for its new sales office. The company provides bioinformatics software solutions for the analysis and interpretation of genomic, proteomic and other biomolecular data.

“Boston has emerged as one of biotechnology’s capital cities,” comments Alex Titomirov, Ph.D., chief executive officer and chairman of InforMax. “Staking our presence in this area allows InforMax to better satisfy our clients in the Northeast corridor and provide them with our signature customer support.”

Company officials say that InforMax has plans to expand into the San Francisco and San Diego markets in the future.
