EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ-Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, based here, has rolled out several more lease deals, totaling some 40,000 sf, and they range from a financial services firm, to a video network, to a dot-com. That’s taken as one indication that ongoing corporate expansion activity in New Jersey continues to run across most business sectors.

In the largest of the five-pack, C&W represented Heartland Securities in its 16,650-sf long-term office lease at Raritan Plaza I in Edison, NJ. The C&W broker was Edward Duenas.

In Newark, meanwhile, STV Inc. has taken 6,688 sf in a multi-year deal at 550 Broad St., currently one of that city’s hot properties. C&W’s Duenas represented the tenant; Alexander Summer of Paramus dealt for the building owner.

At One Harmon Plaza, a Hartz Mountain Property in Secaucus, Citigate Dewe Rogerson has signed on for 6,400 sf. C&W also represented B2B Video Network Corp. in its 5,605-sf multi-year lease at Meadows Office Complex in Rutherford. Part of the expansion included a sublet in which C&W also represented the sublessor, Host Communications.

Finally, Nekema.com has signed a lease for 3,626 sf of office space at 26 Journal Square in Jersey City, which remains the state’s hottest office market.
