The Tree Factory will lease the space for undisclosed terms frombuilding owner Northfield Investments Inc. The company currentlyoccupies 120,000 sf on Brookshire Boulevard here. Northfieldaffiliate Regional Construction and Design Inc. will be the generalcontractor. The project, which will include 8,000 sf of officespace, is expected to break ground before the end of the year.
The Tree Factory, which makes more than 5,000 different kinds ofartificial greenery and floral arrangements, will have 30-ftceilings in its new facility that could be expanded to 160,000 sf.The current building has 12-ft ceilings. The Tree Factory employsabout 160 persons and has been growing at a 70% rate for the pasttwo years.
