San Francisco-based Bank of America Private Bank is expanding inCalifornia and plans to open new offices in Del Mar and theNorthernCalifornia city of Walnut Creek on Dec. 18. Officials willbe co-located with BofA's other investment and business financialservices professionals.

Bank of America has earmarked California for expansion andgrowth.

"This year, broadening our client access with 10 additionalPrivate Bank facilities in high-potential, affluent communitiesstatewide ... doubles our presence in local communities," saysConnie Beck, Private Bank president for the western region. "Theexplosion of wealth inCalifornia outside of traditionalconcentration areas, changes in lifestyles and traffic patterns allare reasons we see opportunity for establishing Private Bankoffices in these communities."
