DENVER-The Denver Broncos plan to build another 18 luxury suites at the $273-million football stadium that’s under construction. While taxpayers had voted to subsidize a portion of the construction tab, the Broncos will build the additional suites at their own expense. The Broncos already have sold the 106 original suites and have pre-sold another five.

The new suites are priced at $80,000 to $115,000 a year, with most riding at $105,000. The Metropolitan Football Stadium District will receive 15% of the revenues from the new suites. The revenues paid to the district will be used to pay down the tax-supported share of the stadium, which is scheduled to open in August.
