The mixed-use project would be called Olympic Place and belocated on the block bordered by Mt. Diablo Boulevard, CaliforniaBoulevard, Olympic Boulevard and Locust Street. The developmentcompany could not be reached for comment and there was noinformation on when the company may decide to break ground once itreceives complete approval.
The City Council has already approved the land uses for theblock in its 1996 specific plan for the site. The project onlyrequires the Design Review Commission approval.Next up, thecommission will discuss environmental issues related to the projectand take public testimony on all aspects of the proposed plans.
