The B-52 Billiards restaurants and pool halls will be opening ina two-story building at 1920 Market St. Austin-based CocktailConcepts has paid $2.6 million for the structure, which formerlyhoused Bella Ristorante restaurant. The Bell Ristorante has movedabout a block away.
The B-52 is a 1940s industrial-theme restaurant that includes aWorld War II KC-97 bomber, encased by a bar. The restaurant'ssecond floor features Tomorrow Land, an area that takes its cuefrom the Jetsons TV show. That section also boasts a party room,called the Bombshell, which recreates the glamour of the 1940s.
