Commerce One reportedly wants to build four six-story buildingstotaling of 760,000 sf. Construction would be completed in threephases, with each building totaling approximately 190,000 sf. Thesticking point is the City of Dublin, which has been eying the sitefor higher-density development because it sits near a plannedDublin-Pleasanton BART station.
Neither Commerce One nor the city was immediately available tocomment on the issue. The Planning Commission will be schedulinghearings to discuss the proposal. Other notable high-tech companiesmaking significant plans in East Dublin include Cisco Systems Inc.,Sun Microsystems and Siebel Systems.
