The initial phase of Lantana Corporate Center, located south ofSouthwest Parkway, includes 7000 West 1, completed in March, and7000 West 2, which had delivered just six months later. Bothbuildings, totaling 140,000 sf, are 100% leased, Stratus CEO BeauArmstrong tells GlobeSt.com. Insignia/ESG of Texas Inc. is handlingthe leasing.

Armstrong says Stratus is now ready to pour the foundation andbegin the project's Phase II--the two-building Rialto Park atLantana, consisting of two-story buildings with surface parking.The structures total 162,000 sf and will be accessible to thesoon-to-be-built Rialto Boulevard. Construction is set to startafter New Year's Day and will provide access to the SouthwestParkway from the property.

Two more four-story buildings with 400,000 sf of office spaceand a five-story structured parking garage will complete RialtoPark at Lantana. Stratus will wait until mid-2001 to beginconstruction on the final two buildings, says project manager RickLindley.
